DESCRIPTION:The national theme for Law Day 2020 is “Your Vote\, Your Voice\, Our Democracy: The 19th Amendment at 100.\nPlease join Clallam-Jefferson County Pro Bono Lawyers this Friday at noon for a virtual Law Day event! Our very own Judge Lauren Erickson will be the keynote speaker for this online program during which we will recognize our volunteers and celebrate the theme for this year’s Law Day! The 2020 Law Day theme is: The 19th Amendment at 100 commemorates “the amendment that guaranteed the right of citizens to vote would not be denied or abridged on account of sex. American women fought for\, and won the vote through their voice and action.”\n\nTo register for our online event this Friday\, May 1\, please go to https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_izHR49-5QrmcqaqXuRCMOg.\n\nIn addition\, the ABA has invited us to attend their live interactive Law Day Program Thursday at 12:30 pm.
